OUR THERAPISTS
LAURA GERBEC Laura Gerbec is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with areas of expertise including anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, body image and trauma. Laura is also working on becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and can offer EMDR. Her past experience working in the community mental healthcare system has allowed her to work from an all-encompassing approach that helps the client heal from the past, manage the present, and prepare for the future. The majority of Laura's work has focused on adolescent and young adult issues, which includes self-exploration, healing from trauma, challenging negative beliefs, and developing healthy communication skills. Laura has experience in human trafficking, a certificate in Victim Advocacy, and has worked with all ages and populations to help heal and grow from painful experiences. In therapy, Laura wants to help her clients find a sense of self-love while not wishing to close the door on reality and their histories. |
KATELYN STILES
Katelyn Stiles is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and is under supervision working towards her licensure to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist. Katelyn has a passion working with children, adolescents and their families. Katelyn is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, has educational training in marriage and family counseling, and has earned a Play Therapy certificate from the University of Central Florida. Katelyn's experience include working in community mental health settings, within schools, and with the juvenile justice system. This experience has allowed her to help with a variety of presenting problems and concerns. Katelyn provides a safe and comfortable environment that allows her clients to freely express themselves and learn how to be the best version of themselves. |
